The debate over health care reform has gotten really messy. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just focus on the facts and work together to come up with a solution? This discussion needs more than 4 minutes, but here I lay out some of the facts about what the reform might mean to you.
I really don’t think that Kennedy’s death will inspire individuals to work harder towards a compromise. You’ve heard some folks say that “If only Kenney were here, we could have reached a compromise”, so his death could actually become an excuse for not working across the aisle.
Rob,
Thanks for sharing your clips-insightful! I must admitt that I’ve only been catching bits and pieces of the national debate. This clip helps to focus in on a couple of issues that I can use in my arguments to ney sayers. It was particularly helpful to explain the non-susatainable choice of any single entity carrying the burden. Do you see any movement from republicans/bule dog dems moving toward the middle of the aisle since the unfortunate passing of Senator Kennedy?
